Fundara was established in Singapore with a clear aim: to provide structured, approachable financial education to individuals who found existing resources either too abstract, too sales-driven, or simply too intimidating to act on.
Our name comes from the idea of a fund of understanding — the belief that a well-informed individual makes better long-term decisions, not because they've been told what to do, but because they genuinely understand why.
We began with a single programme for freelancers navigating Singapore's tax landscape. Since then, our offering has grown to include structured investment education and legacy planning support — each shaped by direct feedback from the people who've participated.

Fundara operates from the CBD district of Singapore, serving individuals across the island who are at varying stages of their financial lives — from freelancers establishing their first systematic savings approach, to working professionals building an investment foundation, to individuals and couples thinking carefully about the assets they will one day leave behind.
Our approach is notably different from platform-based financial tools or sales-oriented advisory. We don't distribute products. We don't earn commissions. We structure education and charge transparently for the time and expertise our team brings. That independence allows us to address topics on their merits, not on what generates a margin.
Singapore's financial landscape — with its CPF structures, MAS-regulated products, and unique tax treatment for sole proprietors — requires education that is locally grounded. Generic international content, however well-produced, often misses the specific mechanisms that matter most to someone living and working here.
